About Subscription Databases

Just as the materials in the library are free for you to use because the library has selected and paid for them, so the library has selected and paid for these databases which are free for you to use.

Different databases have different purposes and different information. Feel free to contact the library if you would like help deciding which would be best for your purpose.

Both the A-Z Database List and the Electronic Resources page link to the databases.

If you are on campus, or logged into the college network, the links should take you directly to the databases’ search pages.

If you are off campus you may got a pop-up box prompting you to log into the college network, or a screen asking for a user name and password (contact the library for these,) or, in the case of Science Direct, you need to set up an account using your college email address.

You may get a screen that says “your connection is not private.” In that case, click on the “advanced” link, and on the next screen the “Proceed to…” link.
